CPA Strategic Plan
The Board of Directors of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association met in April of 2014 to set the strategic direction of the Association. A three year plan was developed. The President-elect of the Association has the duty of oversight and implementation of the plan.
The "strategic" part of this planning process is the continual attention to current changes in the organization and its external environment, and how this affects the future of the organization. Skills in strategic planning are critical to the long-term success of our organization.
In June 2011, the Board identified three Core Values of the association:
CPA is a relevant organization for Pharmacists and the Community
Promote the Value of Pharmacists and of the CPA
Development of the Pharmacy Profession
Each of these Core Values has identified Goals and strategies. At each CPA Board meeting we address one of the Core Values and update any progress being made.
Any Strategic Plan is a living document. It is subject to change as we identify change in our environment.
