CPA provides its members with the ability to establish Academies within the Association.  These Academies are to represent special interest groups to serve the variety of professional practice interests or cultural interests of its members.  These Academies provide a means for its members to participate in CPA’s policy-making process.

The purpose of the Academies shall be consistent with the mission statement of the association.

Currently the Association has 5 Academies:

 The Academy of Pharmacy Practitioners
 The Academy of Scientists
 The Academy of Administrators and Managers
 The Independent Pharmacy Academy                                                                            
 The Medical Marijuana Academy of Dispensary Owners 

The Medical Marijuana Academy of Dispensary Owners is newly formed and has adopted a Charter approved by the Board of Directors of the CPA.
